Who We Really Are
David Alender
President, Founder, and Agent
David is the President of Alender Insurance Agency and holds a very high standard for all activities.
First being exposed to the Insurance industry in 1976, he understands the importance of both building relationships with clients and establishing strong levels of trust. While training other agents, David stresses that “When customers want or need assistance, we need to be there to answer the phone no matter what time it is.” He expects that from all the agents.
Outside of the office, David enjoys keeping up with college and professional sports. He loves spending time with family and keeps quite busy as a handyman, always starting and completing new projects around the house.

Samuel Alender
Vice President and Agent
Meet Sam, one of the agents at Alender Insurance Agency. Licensed in IL, MO, AZ, and SD; he sells insurance both in the P&C and Life and Health market.
A graduate of Greenville University, Sam received his bachelor's degree in business management, and has plans to finish his MBA on the side. During his time at Greenville, he was a player for both the baseball and table tennis team and played piano and violin in their music department. In his spare time he thoroughly enjoys both going to the gym and motorcycle riding.
Sam first joined the team here in 2019 in the marketing department. After graduating in 2020, he started working full time as an agent.
Sam holds strong values in both trust and integrity. He recognizes the importance in professionalism and strives to create positive working relationships.
